About Mooizer Tattoos
From Angola, Mooizer had his first contact with tattooing in Luanda in mid-2015. He moved to Portugal, Lisbon at the end of 2017, where he took his first steps as a professional tattoo artist.
Mooizer currently pursues evolution day by day, studying with several renowned artists in the tattoo industry as well as in artistic design, painting and sculpture.
Living in Lisbon – Portugal, where he has a private studio that meets all the requirements, conditions and hygiene to perform a clean and professional tattoo, this is where Mooizer works, receiving his humble clients from all over the world.
His versatility leads him not only to realism but to bending the bar and creating new art cohesions that go beyond traditional definitions, extinguishing labels and defying the rules. Mooizer Simão is a pioneer, unafraid to follow his own path with only the hope of better days and opening doors for others.

When it comes to getting your first (or maybe a new) tattoo, a lot of questions can arise. We usually receive several messages with the most different questions, but we also know that some people are sometimes afraid or ashamed to ask for what they want. So here are some of the most frequently asked questions about tattoos.
Mooizer works in Black & Gray and Full-Color, Floral Realism style covering various themes and is open to most ideas including portraits, fantasy, nature, spiritual, art nouveau, renaissance and contemporary fine art, miniatures, photorealism of any image, abstract and oriental, to name a few. An idea has not yet been presented that cannot be realized.
As I have few spaces available, I only take on projects that I consider that match my style and in which I can stand out.
I also do not accept cover-ups or finishing another artist’s work.
Pricing is as unique as your tattoos, based on many factors: size, complexity, research and design time required, location, and the time it takes to execute the piece. Due to the highly personalized nature of the work, it is extremely difficult to quote a price without a consultation.
By email. Please include any reference images if you have any, the placement on your body, the size you would like the garment to be (pictures of the area and measurements are always appreciated!) and any preferred dates you would like to book or at least days of the week you work best for you.
Keep in mind that weekends are booked faster, so weekdays are always better when booking.
The deposit is between €50 – €100 depending on the size of the piece – this deposit secures the booking, it is not refunded in the final tattoo price.
The deposit must be paid before you can be placed on the agenda or begin work on a custom design. Deposit is payable via my paypal or bank account – details will be provided at time of booking.
Every person has a different level of pain tolerance, so the question is quite subjective. What one person finds excruciating, another may not blink.
Most customers agree that it’s more of a hassle than anything else. It might not be the best feeling in the world for you, but ultimately, it’s a tolerable feeling. The good news is that once the tattoo is finished, you will never feel it again!
Mooizer Tattoos takes your safety and ours very seriously. Therefore, we follow strict precautions to ensure you have a safe tattoo experience. All our equipment is sterilized in an autoclave, which is the same used in a hospital.
Each needle is new and sterile, along with the ink and other supplies used for each individual tattoo, and then properly disposed of upon completion, making your tattooing experience as safe as possible. And everything is open or placed in front of you, so you can see it for yourself.
My studio is a private space located in Lisbon.
Mooizer Tattoos visits various parts of the world and spends approximately half of the year on tour. these visits are arranged to work privately for clients. For more details, see the “BOOKING” section of the website. To book Mooizer tattoos during one of your tours, please follow the regular booking process and mention the country where you would like to book. Touring sessions are very limited and due to the high volume of entries, only a few projects are selected for stops.
